November 9, 2025 - INSCRIPTIONS FROM THE HEART
Ptr. Immanuel Garcera
Seizing Every Opportunity for God
Church, get ready! I’m sure the ladies of the church will be especially thrilled because, for the rest of November, we're going into the Book of Esther. This isn't just a story in the Old Testament; it's an account of courage, divine providence, and the call to service that is still relevant for us today.
As we delve deep into this new series, our focus will be: ceasing every opportunity to be of service to God. Queen Esther's story, set within the Persian court, is a reminder that God places us exactly where we are for a purpose. Her relative, Uncle Mordecai, poses the famous, life-altering question: “And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14).
These coming weeks, let's ask ourselves that same question. God has given each of us a "royal position" -- a specific sphere of influence, a distinct set of gifts, and a place in His ongoing story. It may not be in a palace, but like Queen Esther, it’s exactly where we're meant to be.
We encourage you to prepare your hearts. Read with us the Book of Esther in the coming weeks (it’s not that long) to familiarize yourself with the narrative. Come to church ready, not just to listen, but to engage with the text and discern how God is calling us to act. Whether it's a bold action like Esther's or a quiet faithfulness, every opportunity to serve is for the Lord!
Let's make this a month where we stop waiting for the "perfect" moment and start seizing the moment God has already given us, for His honour, glory, and praise.
To God be the glory!
