Pressing On to Know Christ

Welcome to 2026 CEAC! As we welcome in the new year, we are also starting a new pulpit theme: “Pressing On”. Taken from Philippians 3:14, as the Apostle Paul reminds us, “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” For January, we will be focusing specifically on, “Pressing On to Know Christ” to start out the year off establishing our spiritual “why”.

Church, we are not simply busy for the sake of being busy, but we are in pursuit of a person, and that is the person of Jesus Christ! Our journey for January will start us off looking at the Book of Acts and then Philippians to know why Jesus is all we need and the “surpassing worth” of knowing Him. We will learn what it means to forget what lies behind -- for what God has for us looking to the future.

Let us strain towards what God has in store for us in 2026, praying for unity and a renewed hunger for the call of God for us in Christ Jesus! Let’s prepare our hearts and minds to run the race prepared for us with endurance as we pursue Christ more intimately in 2026.
