Never Quit Serving in View of the End Times  

Jesus is coming back soon! The end of the times or the last days should shape how we live our lives in the present time. How can this take place? We should love and serve the Lord and also we are to love and serve our fellow humans. The greatest commandments to love God and to love others are inseparable in its intent & purpose, that is, to glorify God and it has to affect every fabric of our being.  

We just need to  open our eyes wide and surely we will always find people that we can extend help. I remember our church in the winter, we would usually go to downtown early in the morning at Hope Mission, storming the cold weather to serve coffee, donuts, muffins and to give away some winter socks among others. We will be doing this again soon as we get closer to the cold season. When we step out of our comfort zone and begin to think of serving others, it challenges us to be sacrificially give away our time and resources and we will always be willing to this with deep joy, knowing that whatever we do to anyone who is need, we ultimately do it for the glory of God.  

May we not give up in extending God's kindness to others while we wait for His soon coming again. May we live this life we've been entrusted with "purposefully-for God's glory" and with "endurance" -- we keep on serving no matter what. Let us be reminded of this verse... 

Hebrews 12:1 (MSG)  

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. 

There Is No Quitting. There Is Only Serving!
