November 30, 2025 - INSCRIPTIONS FROM THE HEART

Cheryl Zamora

As we wrap up our sermon series this Sunday, we can realize that the Book of Esther is unique because it never explicitly mentions God. Yet, the unfolding of events—Esther becoming queen, Mordecai uncovering a plot, the king’s sleepless night—reveals divine providence working behind the scenes.

Unlike the Exodus, Esther’s story shows God delivering His people without clear miracles—through ordinary people and circumstances. The narrative teaches believers to trust God’s unseen hand even when His presence feels hidden. Esther embodies how individuals can be empowered to act courageously when aligned with divine purpose.

Moreover, the Book of Esther reminds us that God’s deliverance is not always loud or miraculous—it can be subtle, hidden, and yet decisive. It encourages faith in the divine providence during times of uncertainty, showing that even in exile and danger, God preserves His people.

Applications: We need to trust God’s unseen hand in our circumstances. Step into courage when called to act, even at personal risk. Celebrate and testify to God’s deliverance in our life. Let us thank the Lord for working in our life even when we cannot see Him and ask Him to give us courage to act in faith and trust His hidden hand of deliverance.
