June 7, 2026 - INSCRIPTIONS FROM THE HEART

In the month of June, after our series on the Gospel of Mark, our pulpit theme is “Deeper Life & Missions”. As we look into the spiritual realities of our world according to the Bible and our spiritual help in times of need, the Holy Spirit -- we hope to really bring into perspective a world we don’t see, but most definitely sense its impact. 

Picture a battlefield where amongst the chaos of people fighting, the noise of battle, and intensity of the situation, there are people walking around clueless of the battle happening and when they get hurt (not “if”) they wonder why and how these things are happening to them. In a sense, this is the situation we live in. Ephesians 6:12 tells us that, “our battle is not against flesh and blood… but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” The enemy is spiritual and he schemes, and his plan is to distract us and the people around us from drawing near to God. If we are not aware of the battle, how will we stand our ground?

Each and every day there is a struggle for the very souls of people. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 9 that he has “become all things to all people” so that by all possible means he might save some. If the battle in the spiritual realm impacts the physical, let’s seek to impact the battle from our end as well. CEAC, be aware of the battle happening in our midst and let’s ready ourselves to stand our ground.
