Ephesians 6:10–12 calls us to “be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power,” reminding us that the real battle of the Christian life is not against people but against spiritual forces that work quietly, subtly, and persistently.
We are not just dealing with stress, conflict, or discouragement — we are facing an enemy who works in the unseen. But Paul does not tell us to be strong in ourselves. He tells us to anchor our strength in the Lord — His power, His truth, His armor.
When we feel worn down, misunderstood, or spiritually pressed, God’s Word reminds us that: our struggle is real, even when we can’t name it; our strength is borrowed, not manufactured; our victory is secured, because it rests on God’s power, not our performance.
So let us stand — not in our own might, but in the Lord’s. Let His truth steady us, His righteousness cover us, and His presence strengthen us. The battle may be invisible, but so is the power that carries us through it.
