July 5, 2026 - INSCRIPTIONS FROM THE HEART
Ptr. Immanuel Garcera
Church, we are entering into a new season, the kids are off of school, summer is upon us, and this Sunday will be the first of many that we will spend without our Senior Pastor, Pastor String (PS). As many of you know, PS will be on sabbatical for the next three months and while his presence will be missed, this time away is long over-due and necessary, as we understand that being a faithful follower means to endure as a community and not simply as an individual.
The apostle Paul said, "Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him." (2 Timothy 2:3–4). Looking ahead at our next sermon theme, it couldn’t be more timely. As we send off PS as a congregation, with the full support of the Board of Elders, our mission remains. We are called to be trained for godliness and to finish the call God has given us.
Over the next few weeks we will explore what it means to move forward together. Let’s support each other, stay committed to God’s Word, and strive in the Lord to be a resilient body of believers. Remember PS and his family in your prayers as they take some much needed time off in the Lord, knowing all of us, all together, will be seeking to dwell in the presence of the Lord, seeking to do His will, all the same.
To God be the glory!
