36 Years Strong: Pressing Onward!

What a blessing to celebrate the 36th Anniversary of our church! For over three decades, we can definitely say that the Lord has been faithful to us. I think I speak for all of us when I say, we are grateful for every life touched and every ministry goal accomplished. Oh to think back on the many hills and valleys we have experienced! This milestone is a gift from God and a testimony to the commitment of our members through the years. 

As we look forward, we are reminded of the Apostle Paul’s encouraging words:

“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but this one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14)

We cannot rest on past accomplishments, and although the end of our 5-year plan is coming, the mission continues! Let us press on into our next chapter with renewed strength and focus! Let’s press on in service, finding a new way to offer our time and talent to the church or community. Let’s press on in growth, deepen our commitment to prayer and studying God’s Word! Finally, let’s press on in faith -- keep your eyes fixed on the ultimate prize of God's call in Christ Jesus.

Thank you Lord for Your faithfulness. Thank you church for your commitment. Let’s serve the Lord together with greater zeal than ever before!
