February 22, 2026 - INSCRIPTIONS FROM THE HEART

Faith isn’t merely believing that God can do something; it’s trusting that God is exactly who He says He is. Hebrews 11:11 points us to Sarah, who received the ability to conceive long after it seemed possible. Her story isn’t about perfect faith—she doubted, she laughed, she questioned. Yet Scripture highlights the moment she shifted her gaze from her limitations to God’s character. She considered Him faithful. That was the turning point.
We all have places where hope feels thin—dreams that seem too old, prayers that feel unanswered, situations that look immovable. Sarah’s story reminds us that God’s timing is not a denial, and His silence is not abandonment. The promise didn’t depend on her strength; it depended on His faithfulness.
Faith grows when we remember who God is. God is not limited by age, timing, or circumstance. God’s promises are not fragile. God’s faithfulness does not waver when ours does. Sarah’s faith wasn’t perfect, but it was real—and God honored it.
Let us ask the Lord to help us shift our focus from what we cannot do to who He is. Let’s pray to the Lord to strengthen our faith where it feels weak and to remind us that His promises are steady, His timing is wise, and His faithfulness never fails. May the Lord teach us to trust God the way Sarah learned to trust Him—deeply, honestly, and expectantly.
