July 27, 2025 - INSCRIPTIONS FROM THE HEART

Serving: From Steadfastness to Urgent Purpose!
As July wraps up, we’re also concluding our sermon series, "Serving Through Triumphs & Trials." What a journey it has been! As we focused on the truth of 1 Corinthians 15:58:
"Therefore, brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
Over the past weeks, we've explored what it means to serve, understanding how our faith shapes what we do for God. We began in Christ's resurrection – the foundation that empowers our efforts to serve. Then, we addressed learning how to persevere amidst life's difficulties and hardships, by the example of Paul. Our Family Camp reminded us of the beauty and responsibility of serving from generation to generation, passing on a legacy of faith and service to those who follow.
Today, we’ll delve into what it means to be a good servant in abundance, recognizing that God entrusts us with "plenty" -- our time, talents, and treasures -- to invest and multiply for His Kingdom, especially in seasons of blessing. Nonetheless, through every triumph and every trial, our call remains to serve God, moved to act on our love for Jesus, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and empower our every step in serving.
As we look ahead to August, be ready for a new sermon series: “Serving with Urgency” rooted in the declaration of Revelation 22:20b, "Surely I am coming soon," this series will, by God’s grace, ignite a commitment to serve God! We'll be challenged to live with a perspective, understanding that the return of Christ gives meaning and urgency to every act of service. For our life is a testament to our faith in Christ as we await Him, our Coming King.
To God be the glory!
